Lori LeBlanc is vice president of LMOGA. She has extensive experience in crafting and promoting policy initiatives within the energy and environmental industries, as well as helping local agencies develop public support for large-scale infrastructure projects for flood control and coastal protection. Ms. LeBlanc previously served as the Director of the Offshore Committee for the Louisiana Mid-Continent Oil & Gas Association (LMOGA), the Executive Director for the Gulf Economic Survival Team (GEST) and the Managing Director for the Morganza Action Coalition (MAC). She also works on local advocacy efforts for the North Lafourche Levee District and the Bayou Lafourche Fresh Water District.

As Director of LMOGA’s Offshore Committee, Ms. LeBlanc works with energy producers in Louisiana to support and promote oil and gas development in the Gulf of Mexico. Responsibilities include maintaining contact with federal policymakers and members of Congress, monitoring federal rules that impact Gulf energy development, and promoting the significance of the Gulf’s energy production to our national economy and energy supply.

Prior to working as a consultant, Ms. LeBlanc served as Deputy Secretary of the Louisiana Department of Natural Resources where she assisted with the implementation of statewide environmental and energy policies and was responsible for managing over $90 million in energy-related programs. Ms. LeBlanc has also worked as Executive Director of coastal advocacy group Restore or Retreat, Inc.; Operations Manager of an international industry supply company, and as an environmental consultant in Baton Rouge and Orlando. Ms. LeBlanc holds a B.S. in Environmental Science from Auburn University a Master’s degree in Environmental Toxicology and Policy from Louisiana State University.
